About The Position

Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values. This position is located at the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering, The Ohio State University CFAES Wooster Campus. Assists in research on investigating performances of nozzles, sprayers and pest control agent delivery systems. Analyzes samples collected from field and laboratory experiments. Operates simple test instruments and controls during tests, makes simple adjustments, and records data. Uses standard tables and substitutes formulas as required. Plots data or results. Maintains work area in a proper and safe manner, and cleans and organizes related instruments and supplies.
