The Student Achievement Navigator, also known as an Academic Advisor, is primarily responsible for student retention and completion. This role is accountable for achieving student retention and completion goals by providing direct services to students in support of the College’s TCS2 (Total Commitment to Student Success) efforts. The Navigator operates in a case management student services role focused on retention management, outreach, and intervention. This position may require working more than a 40-hour week and may involve travel to correctional facilities to support the Corrections Education Program (CEP) and dual-enrollment and early-middle college programs.
