The Structures Technician will complete in-class training and on-the-job training in aircraft structures. This will include items listed in the AerSale MRO FAA Approved training program specifically the OJT portion. This includes understanding of various types of aircraft sealant and appropriate method application for sealant as well as aircraft fasteners and basic methods of installation and suitable substitutions. Fabricating parts is required and have knowledge of metal and alloys and where substitutes may be used. Layout and perform complex structural repairs that are addressed in the repair manuals and engineering documents. Removal and installation of parts and components, repairs to the applicable FAA approved or accepted technical data. Data includes Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Engineering Orders, AD’s, Service Bulletins, Customers GMM etc. Based on prior experience will have less oversight from the trainers and have more ability to work under the supervision of his Lead. In some cases, the Lead is also a designated trainer.
