About the position
CAIS is seeking a junior sales professional to join their Structured Notes team. The role involves generating new business and supporting senior Product Specialists with coverage and client engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for junior sales professionals to learn and develop their industry expertise and sales skills. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry, excellent attention to detail and organization skills, and a client service attitude.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and execute new client relationships alongside the team in an assigned region
- Prospect cities that are undeveloped
- Work with senior Product Specialist to develop and execute a business plan to generate new structured notes business in the independent wealth management channel
- Develop new leads and originate calls / in-person meetings
- Market structured solutions offerings to prospects and clients
- Develop customized solutions for clients to address their investment objectives
- Service existing client relationships and fulfill any request for assistance or information
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure client needs are met in a timely fashion
- Prepare presentations and materials on behalf of the senior sales professional for client meetings
- Keep track of all open/live trade opportunities
- Keep Airtable accurate with trades
- Develop expertise on all CAIS products, business activities, and infrastructure
- Assist Marketing in creating educational materials to educate and promote structured solutions
- Special projects and additional responsibilities to be determined based on capacity, skill, and interest
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Capacity to understand a diverse range of technical investment products
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Great client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to initiate and execute new client relationships
- Ability to prospect undeveloped cities
- Ability to develop and execute a business plan to generate new structured notes business
- Ability to develop new leads and originate calls/in-person meetings
- Knowledge of marketing structured solutions offerings to prospects and clients
- Ability to develop customized solutions for clients to address their investment objectives
- Ability to service existing client relationships and fulfill requests for assistance or information
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using Airtable and keeping it accurate with trades
- Expertise on all CAIS products, business activities, and infrastructure
- Ability to assist in creating educational materials to promote structured solutions
- Willingness to take on special projects and additional responsibilities based on capacity, skill, and interest
