About The Position

Bank of America’s US Credit Solutions Trading team is seeking a Structured Credit Trader for its New York-based business. The role focuses on trading Total Return Swaps (TRS) on Bond Baskets and supporting the continued growth of the franchise and the development of new credit derivative products. The position is based at ONE BRYANT PARK – BANK OF AMERICA TOWER in New York, and is a first-shift role with a 40-hour workweek. The position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits.

Requirements

• Vice President/Director level trader with experience executing OTC credit derivatives.
• Strong understanding of corporate credit markets and credit financing.
• Ability to quickly learn the firm's execution and risk management tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and intellectually curious.

Responsibilities

• Make markets and trade total return swaps (TRS) on US investment grade and high yield bond baskets.
• Manage funding and delta risk for TRS on Bond Baskets.
• Partner with Portfolio Trading and QSDG to optimize baskets.
• Negotiate swap documentation and manage lifecycle events.
• Work closely with Sales and Portfolio Trading to market capabilities.
• Support the development and growth of new credit derivative products.
