About The Position

HUTCO, INC. is hiring a Structural Welder for a shipbuilding environment in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The role involves welding metal fabricated parts using various welding processes and positions. Pay is $42.00 per hour, with $147.04 daily per diem for those who qualify. Employees must be able to work all shifts and perform work in confined spaces, at heights, and under all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of shipyard experience in FCAW (Flux Core) and SMAW (Stick Welding).
• Knowledge of ship terminology.
• Pass military-standard weld tests in vertical (3G), overhead (4G), and horizontal (2G) positions; weld testing is for X-ray quality.
• Pass a drug test (HFT) and E-Verify.
• Be able to work all shifts.
• Be able to work in confined spaces, ascend and work at heights, and work under all weather conditions.

• Perform fillet and butt welding.
