Communication with project managers, architects, and campus staff regarding standards and requirements is essential. Inventory management of materials like paints, stains, and adhesives is also a key duty. Adherence to safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling of hazardous materials, is mandatory. The position requires performing preventative maintenance on building components and developing paint cycle schedules. Additionally, the role provides support to other Facilities Department units, assists with snow removal, and coordinates with outside contractors. Accurate documentation of work orders using TMA software is required.
