About The Position

We are seeking experienced MIG and Flux-Core (FCAW) Welders to join our structural steel fabrication team in Lindon, Utah. This position is responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling structural steel components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Applicants must successfully complete an on-site welding test consisting of 1G through 3G welds as part of the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of MIG and/or Flux-Core welding experience preferred.
  • Experience welding structural steel is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to pass a 1G–3G welding test during the interview process.
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
  • AWS D1.1 certification is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must provide your own welding hood and welding jacket.
  • Required hand tools must be brought on your first day of work.
  • Must successfully pass a standard background check.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and Flux-Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Fit, align, and secure materials using clamps, fixtures, measuring tools, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Produce quality welds that meet company and project specifications.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
  • Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
  • Report material defects, drawing discrepancies, or safety concerns immediately.
