About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Welder for our 1st shift. The ideal candidate will possess a D1.1 2G/3G welding certification with relevant experience, a willingness to learn, and the ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings. This role involves welding structural steel parts according to specifications, ensuring correct welds through visual inspection, and safely operating various tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Welding certification in D1.1 2G/3G with applicable experience
- Ability to interpret fabrication and construction drawings
- Prior Experience Operating Overhead Cranes
- Prior welding experience in Flux core ideal
- 1 2G/3G Certification preferred
- Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
- Welding structural steel parts as specified per drawings and marked up weld symbols
- Assure the structural components are welded correctly with visual inspection
- Safely operate overhead cranes, air arc, grinder and magnetic drill and any other required tools of the trade
- Flux core welding 2G/3G
