About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Flux Core Welders for projects located in the West Jordan, UT area. This is a first & second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24-35/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. The job scope includes performing structural steel welding in a shop environment, welding light and heavy beams, columns, and structural assemblies, and performing FCAW / flux-core welding to project specifications. You will follow applicable WPS requirements, read and work from structural drawings and weld symbols, and maintain weld quality and production standards. Work extended shifts and overtime as required, and maintain a safe and organized work area.

Requirements

• Flux-Core Arc welding, structural steel and heavy fabrication experience
• Pass a weld test
• Basic welding PPE
