Structural Engineering Project Manager
About The Position
We are looking for a motivated, self-driven, individual to help grow our structural engineering department. We are seeking structural engineers who have experience in timber, steel, CMU, and concrete design. Experience with both commercial and residential design is desired. Our Client offers structural design services in all 50 states and parts of Canada. Engineers at Vector have the opportunity to learn different engineer disciplines and develop expertise in a wide range of industries, geographic areas and types of construction. We are seeking individuals who will add to the great team we have and who enjoy solving problems and working with urgency and professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-4 years engineering experience
- Proficient in Risa 3d design suite, AutoCAD and Excel desired
- Ability to work legally in the United States
- 3-4 years of experience in structural design of timber, steel or concrete structures required.
- Experience with structural engineering software (RISA 3D, RetainPro, TNX tower, or Enercalc, etc.) required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Revit preferred
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- One or more state licenses as professional (PE) or structural engineer (SE) is highly desired.
- Experience working with clients desired.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Train and develop younger engineers
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Perform calculations and red-line drawings
- Complete other duties as assigned
