About The Position

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our California team. This position is expected to start in Fall 2026. The role involves building analytic and design skills, conducting engineering design, creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings, collecting and analyzing data, using computer software for engineering problems, and performing work within budget and schedule, all under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related study
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within a year
Coursework in structural analysis, concrete design, and steel design
Knowledge in Bentley MicroStation and Autodesk Suite (Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD)

Responsibilities
