About The Position

The Special Projects Group of KPFF is growing and looking for an ambitious and initiative-driven entry-level Structural Engineer to strengthen our dynamic team in Seattle, WA. You will be at the heart of downtown, working on a diverse range of civil, industrial, port developments, marine waterfront, ferry terminals, shipyards, floating structures, and transportation design build infrastructure projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering (structural Focused)
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • Willingness to work on a variety of projects
  • Concrete, steel, and timber coursework
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your engineering knowledge to diverse projects, collaborating with teams to devise innovative solutions drawing on best practices in areas such as ports, harbors, marinas, floating structures, and ferry terminals.
  • Contribute to projects involving waterfront developments and industrial developments, leveraging your skills to drive successful outcomes in these specialized areas.
  • Enhance your skills in identifying and overcoming challenges through innovative problem-solving approaches, utilizing both traditional and modern engineering techniques.
