About The Position
KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking summer interns interested in experiencing the daily life of a Structural Engineer. This internship offers a summer packed with training programs, activities to connect with the team, and real-world projects to apply skills. KPFF has a strong track record of interns returning as full-time employees or for subsequent internships.
Requirements
- Completed junior year by the start of the internship.
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Structures).
- Completed courses in Structural Analysis.
- Completed courses in Mechanics of Materials.
- Provide transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Provide a cover letter responding to specific prompts.

Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience in structural design.
- Work closely with experienced engineers on real-world projects.
- Apply academic knowledge and develop skills.
- Assist in the preparation of calculations and construction documents on active jobs under the guidance of project leaders.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits.
