About The Position

HDR is seeking a Structural EIT to support structural engineering projects within its Building Engineering Services Group. The group designs critical infrastructure and facilities, including data centers and commercial environments, bringing together mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering expertise. The work supports technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.

The Structural EIT conducts engineering analyses, develops design options or recommendations, and assists with cost estimates and specifications. The role performs routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures, works independently on small projects or alongside senior engineers on larger projects, and may provide direction to clerical and technical personnel. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, or similar tools.
• Commitment to actively participate in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.
• Previous structural design experience, including internship or full-time work experience.

Responsibilities
