About The Position

HDR is seeking a Structural EIT/Designer to contribute to structural engineering projects as part of collaborative, multidisciplinary design teams. The role conducts analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assists with preparing construction documents and specifications. It performs routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures, works independently on small projects or supports senior engineers on larger projects, and coordinates with other disciplines independently or under senior-engineer supervision. Other duties may be assigned.

Candidates hired without an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate will be given the title of Coordinator and will be expected to obtain an EIT for career progression.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, or similar tools.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate; candidates hired without an EIT will have the title of Coordinator and are expected to obtain the certificate for career progression.
• Local candidates preferred.
