Structural CAD Designer (1-5 years)
About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Designer to join their team in Honolulu. This role involves applying engineering and drafting skills to develop design packages for diverse projects. Responsibilities include detailed structural drafting design, serving as the project CAD lead, and conducting field investigations to verify as-built conditions. The work must conform to project specifications, client CAD standards, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. Travel to various office or project locations may be required. The focus is on delivering complete and accurate design packages to clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in AutoCAD
- Previous experience in 3D software (Revit preferred) for Architectural or Structural design projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Self-motivated and willing to attend software training sessions for professional development
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from a certified CAD training program
- Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field
