Structural Analyst III

BLUE ORIGIN•West Melbourne, FL
•$121,023 - $169,432

About The Position

Blue Origin is hiring a Structural Analyst III to support the development and operations of New Glenn’s second stage and payload accommodations. The role performs structural analysis of subsystems using hand calculations and finite element model simulations, supporting design, manufacturing, and operations. It requires a thorough understanding of structural analysis and load paths to help deliver weight-optimized designs. The analyst creates concise, accurate analysis documentation, conducts peer reviews, and provides technical guidance to design engineers and junior structural analysts. As the program transitions from initial design, hardware release, and qualification testing into production and operations, the role supports production issues, ongoing testing, and mission operations. The position calls for technical expertise, leadership, attention to quality, and a commitment to safe human spaceflight. Relocation may be provided, travel is expected up to 15% of the time, and interviews include a technical assessment. The Washington applicant base-pay range is $121,023.00–$169,432.20; ranges at other sites may differ.
