Requirements

• BSN degree, Masters in Nursing or equivalent preferred
• Five years of acute care experience as RN
• Three years of experience in caring for Stroke patients
• Current NYS RN license.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that stroke patients at Garnet Health Medical Center and Garnet Health Medical Center-Catskills receive care in compliance with NYS DOH guidelines for Stroke Center Designation.
• Working in partnership with the Stroke Medical Director and various members of the Stroke Leadership Team in support of patient care and evidence based clinical practice.
