As a Project Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge technology to our warfighters and driving the program's success. We are looking for a candidate that can lead emerging development projects to shape the next evolution of LRASM. The candidate will be a project leader with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to prioritize and deliver results in ambiguous environments. The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to our warfighters.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project lead, Cost Account Management (CAM), PI, or similar role with a demonstrated ability to lead a project start to finish within a defined cost and schedule.
  • Experience working on development projects and programs with a strong understanding of risk and opportunity management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with track record of presenting to internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight, with a strong self-starter mentality
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Experience leading cross functional teams
  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance as well as a Special Access Program clearance.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

  • B.S. or higher in engineering or a science-based degree
  • Experience in proposal management process
  • Experience with USN and USAF customer
  • Experience writing and statements of work and drafting Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Knowledge of program and financial measurements (orders, sales, EBIT and cash)
  • Knowledge of DoD contract types (CPFF, FFP, CPIF, etc.)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with missile systems
  • Demonstrated maturity, judgement, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering results in fluid or ambiguous situations

Responsibilities

  • Lead emerging development projects to shape future capabilities for the next evolution of LRASM
  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver multiple project goals within cost, schedule, and technical constraints
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with future needs and prioritize projects accordingly
  • Work closely with the customer and program team to shape requirements, coordinate proposals, establish business plans, and negotiate new contracts
  • Manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
