About The Position

T-Solutions is seeking an AEGIS Weapons Maintenance Specialist to oversee Statement of Work requirements at our Wallops Island, Virginia station. This role supports the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in management, engineering, operations, and technical expertise for the activation, operation, maintenance, and engineering of equipment, systems, and computer programs crucial for Naval Sea Systems Command and Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems missions. SCSC provides live and simulated integrated warfare capabilities for developing, testing, evaluating, and conducting fleet operations and training.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 10 years’ experience in maintenance management of shipboard weapon systems equipment.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize and schedule personnel to support maintenance tasks across mission facilities and make recommendations for troubleshooting, workarounds, or corrective actions.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor or manager when not in the office.

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired; however, candidates eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in various types of electronic systems such as C4I, Combat Systems, Communication Systems, etc.
  • Duties include system design, integration, modification, testing, installation engineering, and design engineering.
  • Developing and reviewing equipment test plans and procedures.
  • Conducting analyses, analyzing test results, and recommending design changes to bring systems into compliance with design/performance specifications.
  • Adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
  • Coordinates, computes, or synthesizes engineering or technical data.
  • Uses prescribed mathematical formulae and/or models to calculate measures of performance characteristics for electronic systems.
  • Supervises technical staff assigned to project.
  • Duties include the training of project personnel in the procedures and approaches available for the work effort.
