About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The position requires demonstrating expertise and in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of strength, conditioning, speed, agility, and mobility. The assistant will monitor and evaluate the progress of athletes, interact with a wide array of socio-economic backgrounds, and work within the policies and procedures of the university environment. They will also establish and manage goals, operate as a team player, and follow the directions of supervisors and coaches. Hours will vary based upon programs in-season/offseason with no more than 20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC)
  • CPR/First Aid/AE
  • Previous experience in collegiate athletics
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • Verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
  • This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
