About The Position

United Launch Alliance is hiring a Strength Analyst to support Vulcan Development activities, including Centaur V on SLS in support of Artemis and Upper Stage Advancement long-duration capabilities. The analyst performs strength, fatigue, and fracture analyses of propulsion and structural components, including nonlinear analyses, and develops analysis models and hand calculations to provide strength inputs and recommendations for new designs and installations. The role reviews and approves 3D engineering layouts, models, designs and drawings, and 2D drawing changes for propulsion, fluid-system, and mechanical-system components. It makes design recommendations considering thermal, mechanical, and pressure loading, and documents results in strength reports. The analyst also participates in peer, tabletop, and formal design reviews and supports fast-paced design-analysis cycles and trade studies, working with minimal mentor oversight. The position is based in Denver, Colorado, with 10% travel and possible relocation assistance. The stated salary range for this location is $81,695–$136,159. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. Most salaried ULA team members work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off; flexible work environments are offered. This position requires applicants to be U.S. Persons under ITAR.
