Requirements
- Knowledge of hockey and/or Condors events will be considered an asset
- Able to perform mildly strenuous activity for several hours at a time
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Positive, energetic and professional attitude
- Passion for the sports and entertainment industry
- Schedule flexibility to work game nights; will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on AHL schedule
- Access to a vehicle and a motor vehicle license (or ability to obtain one prior to employment)
- Ability to build strong relationships with external customers
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to ensure excellent customer care to both internal and external clients
- Ability to execute exceptional organizational skills in the face of tight deadlines and multiple demands
- Thrive working independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Execute engaging pregame activations throughout Condor’s home games, including assembling and disassembling simple promo booths/ and providing entertainment for attendees
- Engage with Condors fans, staff, and partners in a variety of circumstances, driving positive association with the brand through a service-oriented mindset
- Lift and transport promotional materials weighing up to 75 pounds
- Create a positive first impression and engage with fans of all ages
- Represent the Bakersfield Condors professionally at community events and promotional appearances
- Perform other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned
