Requirements

  • Able to perform mildly strenuous activity for several hours at a time
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Positive, energetic and professional attitude
  • Passion for the sports and entertainment industry
  • Schedule flexibility to work game nights; will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on AHL schedule
  • Ability to build strong relationships with external customers
  • Passionate about Sports and Entertainment
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to ensure excellent customer care to both internal and external clients
  • Ability to execute exceptional organizational skills in the face of tight deadlines and multiple demands.
  • Thrive working independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in addition to a strong telephone presence.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing in a suit as a school or business mascot will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of hockey and/or Condors events will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing in one of two mascot suits and embodies the character during all Condors home games, community events and special appearances.

Benefits

  • This role is budgeted to start at $16.90.
