Requirements

  • Strong financial acumen and ability to structure and solve complex problems through data
  • Strong ability to ask powerful strategic questions that make our decisioning better
  • Ability to lead and manage complex projects that involve multiple sub-teams
  • Ability to present complicated material in a concise and effective way (written and verbal)
  • Enthusiasm and curiosity to pilot and accelerate use of AI
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Smartsheet and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects: Address Starbucks’ most pressing opportunities including growth, transformation, and operational excellence – all to drive the Back to Starbucks turn around.
  • Deliver insightful data-driven strategic recommendations: Translate complex business challenges into clear decision paths for senior executives including the CEO, ELT, and Board
  • Lead cross functionally at all levels: Guide enterprise prioritization, build organizational alignment, solve systemic challenges, and ensure execution with excellence for key initiatives
  • Plan and manage enterprise processes and practices to drive insightful and targeted decision-making, and program alignment with enterprise business goals and objectives
