About The Position

As a Strategy Director at dotdotdash, you lead strategy that turns complex challenges into experiences people choose to join. You oversee strategy across client relationships and multidisciplinary engagements, from initial framing through delivery, translating business, brand, and human challenges into clear direction, meaningful choices, and actionable roadmaps. You identify shifts and growth opportunities by decoding signals across culture, technology, and social behavior, and determine the appropriate form for each opportunity, such as a brand platform, campaign, digital product, service, physical experience, or connected ecosystem. The role connects audience value to brand and business outcomes by creating meaningful ways for people to participate. You guide research and synthesis, turn strategic thinking into practical tools and direction for teams, and partner with creative, technology, social, production, and client leaders to carry strategy through execution. You advise senior clients, lead workshops and presentations, manage and develop a small team, and work as a hands-on player-coach. You also support client growth and strengthen the strategy practice through new business contributions, evolving methods and tools, and sharing knowledge across the agency and network. Dotdotdash is a global experience and innovation agency and part of Omnicom Advertising Group. The agency combines boutique service and craft with the reach and resources of a global network. Employees are generally required to work in the office at least three days per week, subject to local law and any additional direction from the agency or manager. The stated salary is $190,000.

  • A portfolio or case studies demonstrating strategy carried through into real experiences, campaigns, brand ecosystems, products, or services, with clear outcomes.
  • Experience leading complex engagements and advising senior client stakeholders from ambiguity through decision and delivery.
  • Demonstrated people-management experience, including coaching, feedback, workload planning, and career development.
  • Strong research and synthesis skills, with confidence using qualitative, quantitative, cultural, behavioral, and business evidence.

  • Fluency with modern strategy tools, including research, analytics, social listening, collaborative workspaces, presentation software, and responsible AI workflows.
