About The Position

StubHub is hiring a Strategy Associate to work at the intersection of strategy and analytics, helping advance its mission to become a go-to destination for accessing global live events. The role focuses on understanding user needs and delivering effective, enjoyable feature innovations. The associate will independently make decisions and drive measurable improvements that affect customers, while leading cross-functional projects in collaboration with senior leaders, product managers, and engineers. The role is hybrid, with three days in the New York, NY office and two days remote.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in a quantitative or analytical role.
A track record of using analytics to support decision-making and the ability to examine data deeply and identify relevant insights.
Self-motivation and autonomy, including the ability to independently identify and implement high-value analyses and projects.
Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with a procedural programming language such as SQL, or willingness to master one.

Responsibilities

Turn business objectives into analytical problems and solve them using data, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
Define and report on key metrics and user data to measure operational performance and inform data-driven decisions.
Lead cross-functional business initiatives, including building and managing business plans and working across organizational lines.
Improve workflows and processes by streamlining or automating them.
Use experimental methodology, mindset, and rigor to achieve objectives.
