Strategic UI UX Designer
About The Position
We are seeking a Strategic UI UX Designer to join our team in Chicago, IL. This is a long-term, onsite role requiring the designer to be present from day one. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, specifically in UI/UX design for automotive head unit UI features. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining foundational experience and navigation concepts, building informational architecture, and developing concepts for new UI/UX projects. This role involves coordinating and creating UI/UX roadmaps to guide the display design trajectory in collaboration with CX and Product teams. You will also conduct user research, concept research, and usability testing, while creating and supporting UI/UX ecosystems and innovation projects. Maintaining an awareness of UI/UX design trends and creating user experience and user interface designs are key aspects of this position. You will work closely with the Research team and Ergonomics to ensure our products meet customer needs and expectations, acting as the primary liaison for the CX team to translate customer needs into UI/UX designs.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in UI/UX designing for Automotive head unit UI features
