About The Position

Thompson Pipe Group is seeking a Strategic Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Operations Manager to lead recruiting strategy, recruiting operations, and full-cycle hiring efforts across multiple manufacturing and operational locations. This role is responsible for improving hiring speed, recruiting accountability, recruiting systems, candidate pipelines, and workforce stability across the organization. The position partners closely with Operations Leadership, Plant Management, HR teams, and Executive Leadership to support high-volume and critical hiring needs across manufacturing, transportation, skilled trades, engineering, maintenance, and leadership positions. This is a hands-on operational recruiting leadership role focused on building scalable recruiting processes while driving immediate hiring execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or recruiting operations experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, transportation, construction, or multi-site operations preferred.
  • Experience with ATS platforms, recruiting workflows, recruiting analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/ATS systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, sourcing strategies, workforce planning, and operational staffing.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead company-wide recruiting operations and full-cycle recruitment efforts.
  • Develop recruiting strategies and talent pipelines for manufacturing, CDL, maintenance, engineering, and skilled trades positions.
  • Improve recruiting workflows, hiring responsiveness, and recruiting accountability across locations.
  • Manage recruiting systems, ATS workflows, automation processes, and recruiting dashboards.
  • Lead recruiting automation initiatives within ADP Workforce Now and related recruiting technologies.
  • Monitor recruiting funnels, open requisitions, sourcing activity, and hiring metrics.
  • Partner with Operations and HR leadership to address workforce planning and staffing challenges.
  • Train hiring managers on interviewing practices, hiring expectations, and recruiting process standards.
  • Support recruiting marketing, workforce outreach, and community recruiting partnerships.
