About The Position

Drive the future of technology by leading global sourcing for board components. In this role, you’ll own commercial strategy, pricing, and supply for critical semiconductor commodities. Partner with engineering, quality, operations, and finance to deliver innovative supply chain solutions from NPI through mass production. You will develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives, driving total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions and long-term value through competitive sourcing events, RFx processes, and strategic supplier selection. Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate key agreements, and implement long-term strategies for cost, quality, and service while ensuring supply continuity and scalability. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize end-to-end supply chain performance, support demand forecasting, and proactively identify risks and opportunities. Requirements

  • Experienced sourcing manager who builds trusted partnerships across engineering, operations, finance, quality, and supplier leadership, and uses that influence to shape commodity strategies that secure cutting-edge technology, competitive pricing, uncompromising quality, and resilient supply.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong experience in strategic sourcing within the semiconductor industry
  • Proven experience in category/commodity management for boards, systems, or rack components (e.g., ICs, Power ICs, Thermal, Interconnects, PCB)
  • Expertise in RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiation
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using spend analytics, KPIs, and cost modeling (TCO)
  • Experience managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement programs
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, risk management, and market intelligence
  • Effective leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSCP, or CPSM are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead global commodity and category strategy for Instinct platform components, aligning with product and technology roadmaps
  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive total cost of ownership (TCO), optimization and long-term value
  • Lead competitive sourcing events, RFx processes, supplier evaluation, and selection decisions
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships, including qualification, onboarding, performance management, and continuous improvement programs
  • Negotiate pricing, lead-time, and quality agreements to achieve cost competitiveness and supply assurance
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through should-cost analysis, value engineering, and long-term agreements
  • Ensure supply readiness for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Mass Production (MP) programs
  • Analyze end-to-end supply chain performance using spend analytics and KPIs to identify cost optimization opportunities and track supplier performance
  • Support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and capacity alignment in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic business reviews to drive continuous improvement
  • Onboard new suppliers and expand the Approved Vendor List (AVL) to support technology and capacity needs
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks including single-source dependencies, geopolitical exposure, and supplier financial stability
  • Develop contingency plans and multi-sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity
  • Gather market intelligence and benchmark suppliers to support future product and technology requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and business teams to align sourcing strategy with enterprise goals, including make-vs-buy analysis and capital planning
  • Report progress on sourcing initiatives, risk mitigation strategies, and performance metrics to executive leadership with clear, data-driven insights
