About The Position

Cadence is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for its Hardware Systems Verification Supply Chain Team. The role focuses on designing and scaling the supply chain to meet business growth, developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships and costs, mitigating supply-chain risks, and advising executive management on procurement strategy and opportunities for cost optimization.

Requirements

15+ years of supply-chain operational leadership experience in the electronic systems industry.
Experience nurturing long-term, sustainable supplier relationships and established vendor networks in the electronics market.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively, manage risks, reduce cost of goods (COGs), and achieve margin expansion.
Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and inventory operations.
Strong financial and P&L management skills, with the ability to align supply-chain strategies with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

Design and scale the overall supply chain to meet growing business demands, including sourcing strategy, cost management, and vendor governance.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to eliminate supply-chain risks and achieve operational performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Execute global strategic sourcing, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
Implement and oversee supply-base cost management initiatives to drive value and maintain competitive advantage.
Advise executive management on procurement strategy, vendor risk, and cost-optimization opportunities.
