Requirements

  • Must possess 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related role in the Material purchasing role.
  • Must also possess experience with Washing Machine production, Material Inventory Management, ERP, Supply Chain Management and KPI analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Define material requirements, analyzing program data to prepare material spend plans, and work collectively with other functional teams involved in production.
  • Review, analyze, and resolve expectations and error reports from master data management and ERP planning modules for Washing Machine production factory.
  • Support product supply and inventory plans consistent with the objectives of management.
  • Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure on-time compliance to customer release requirements while minimizing carrying and premium freight costs.
  • Review department/plant measurable (customer delivery, supplier delivery, premium freight and inventory) and establish corrective measures for performance adherence.
  • Facilitates the resolution of supplier inbound Quality Issues.
  • Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control).
  • Achievement of daily, monthly and annual team targets (KPI).
  • Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget.
  • Aligns Innovation team to forecast and reduce costs.
  • Develop knowledge of Material Requirements Planning by assisting Supply Analysts plan the phase in and/or phase out of products.
  • Identify unique components for products being phased out or inactivated.
  • Monitor product phase-in/out plans to minimize excess or obsolete inventory and issue progress reports during the phase out period.
