About The Position

TiER1 is seeking a hands-on, client-facing project and program manager who can translate strategic vision into execution and help complex work stay aligned, gain adoption, and deliver business impact. The role works directly with client leaders and cross-functional teams to manage complex projects from initiation through completion, supporting planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes.

The manager will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and success measures; establish project governance and team rhythms; coordinate work across disciplines; and manage project financials. The role also builds client relationships, facilitates decisions, monitors progress toward business outcomes, and identifies opportunities to improve delivery using AI, tools, and new ways of working.

The position is expected to develop over the first year: initially learning TiER1’s project management function, then transitioning from project to program management, and ultimately moving toward strategic leadership. Occasional travel for client or company meetings may be required.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, including planning, stakeholder coordination, and delivery.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Ability to connect big-picture strategy to execution with strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills to bring clarity and guide decisions.
• Ability to coordinate and guide cross-functional teams with collaboration, accountability, and follow-through.
• Willingness to grow from learning project management during months 1–6, to transitioning into program management during the first year, and toward strategic leadership as the first year wraps.
• Proficiency with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or MS Project.

• Identify opportunities to improve delivery through AI, tools, and new ways of working.
