About The Position

The Strategic Project Lead owns complex projects supporting advanced AI initiatives, from initial framing and scoping through execution and final delivery. The role translates customer requirements into actionable specifications and structured plans, designs scalable data workflows, coordinates operational and domain teams, and maintains quality and delivery standards across multiple workstreams. The position involves customer scoping and communication, data-pipeline design, human-data operations, stakeholder coordination, and delivery management. Work may span AI training, evaluation, data operations, and expert-driven project workflows. Project scope, customer requirements, team composition, and operational priorities may evolve as programmes scale. The role is fully remote and is offered as a full-time engagement through 24-MAG LLC.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience leading complex projects, technical programmes, or operational workflows.
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Background in data operations, engineering, computer science, or technical project management.
Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguity into structured plans and execute quickly.
Strong ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.
Experience managing cross-functional teams or expert contributors.
Familiarity with data pipelines and data-intensive operational workflows.
Startup or entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward execution.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI/ML companies, AI labs, data annotation, or evaluation projects is highly valuable.
Familiarity with AI training workflows and human-in-the-loop operations is advantageous.
A technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Own complex projects from initial framing and scoping through execution and final delivery.
Translate broad objectives and customer needs into structured project plans, actionable specifications, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
Maintain execution cadence across multiple workstreams; identify blockers early and drive timely resolution.
Ensure projects meet agreed quality, timeline, and operational requirements.
Keep customer priorities aligned with internal project teams and adjust scope and plans as requirements evolve.
Design and launch data pipelines supporting AI training and evaluation workflows, improving usability, clarity, quality, and scalability.
Structure human-data operations for efficient, reliable execution and identify opportunities to strengthen workflow performance and consistency.
Collaborate with technical and operational teams on data-intensive project requirements.
Coordinate Operations, domain experts, project leads, contributors, and stakeholders across complex workflows.
Establish clear ownership, responsibilities, and quality expectations; monitor project performance and address delivery or quality issues.
Support high standards across human-data and expert-driven workstreams.
Own customer communication and provide clear updates on progress, milestones, risks, blockers, and next steps.
Maintain direct, consistent communication across internal and external stakeholders and drive alignment across technical, operational, and domain teams.
Support fast decision-making in dynamic, high-intensity environments.
