About The Position

This full-time, fully remote role is for an experienced legal professional who can lead complex initiatives supporting advanced AI organizations and legal-focused data projects. The position combines legal expertise with end-to-end project leadership, including translating ambiguous customer requirements into clear project specifications, designing and improving legal-domain workflows, coordinating Operations teams and Legal subject-matter experts, managing delivery milestones, and communicating directly with senior stakeholders. The role involves legal research, contract analysis, litigation, regulatory and compliance workflows, AI training and evaluation operations, data operations, and human-data pipelines. Project scope, priorities, customer requirements, and workflows may evolve with business needs. Work must not use confidential, privileged, proprietary, client-identifiable, sealed, regulated, or otherwise restricted information belonging to a third party. Requirements

J.D. or equivalent law degree.
At least 2 years of experience in legal practice, legal research, regulatory/compliance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience leading complex projects, operational workflows, or legal-related initiatives.
Strong legal-domain knowledge and project-management skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects from ambiguity through delivery.
Strong stakeholder-management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work effectively with attorneys and senior Legal professionals.
Strong attention to detail, ownership, urgency, and operational discipline.

Nice To Haves

Experience with legal research, contract analysis, litigation, or regulatory/compliance work.
Experience with legal, technical, or data-intensive projects.
Familiarity with AI/ML organizations, data annotation, evaluation workflows, or human-in-the-loop systems.

Responsibilities

Own complex projects from scoping through execution and final delivery.
Translate strategic objectives and customer requirements into structured project plans.
Define workstreams, milestones, dependencies, quality standards, and deliverables.
Design workflows for legal research, contract analysis, litigation, regulatory, and compliance-related tasks.
Resolve blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
Design and refine legal-domain data pipelines and human-data workflows.
Coordinate expert-driven annotation, review, and evaluation processes.
Improve workflow efficiency, scalability, and operational reliability.
Establish quality-control and review procedures.
Identify bottlenecks and implement practical process improvements.
Manage client communication about scope, quality, timing, progress, and risk.
Coordinate attorneys, senior Legal experts, Operations teams, and project leads.
Align contributors around clear responsibilities and execution expectations; provide concise updates, feedback, and next steps.
Support rapid deployment of expert teams for new project needs.
Support projects involving AI training, evaluation, and human-generated legal data.
Translate customer objectives into scalable operational systems.
Apply legal-domain judgment to project specifications and evaluation criteria.
Maintain execution across legal, operational, and technical workstreams.
Improve workflows supporting complex AI and data initiatives.
