The Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), within the Executive Office for Administration and Finance, supports diverse and small businesses across the Commonwealth and the United States. The SDO seeks a detail-oriented professional to serve as a Strategic Programs and Engagement Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Programs and Engagement, this role supports the Unit and Agency by implementing strategic initiatives and engagement efforts to advance SDO Programs. The Coordinator will execute and evaluate success of specific plans and strategies to maximize Unit and Agency priorities. Outreach/engagement campaigns and initiatives executed by the Coordinator will advance SDO programming as administrative need arises, such as our Empowering Abilities in Contracting and Employment (EACE) Program, Municipal Construction Affirmative Marketing Program/Veteran Business Program (Construction Programs/MCAMP/VPB), SDO Certification, and events. The Coordinator also attends events and meetings to represent the SDO, conducts follow-up one-on-one sessions as appropriate, and may schedule meetings, presentations, and plan events in furtherance of strategic initiatives on occasion. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to delivering efficient, accurate, and effective service to SDO’s constituents.
