About The Position

Under general supervision, manages programs, performs community engagement and outreach, public engagement and communication activities as well as research and analysis; and performs related duties as assigned. The current Engagement and Programs Specialist vacancy is within the Department of Communications, but the eligibility list may be used to fill vacancies in the Department of Community Development and Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Communications, or a closely related field
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in community outreach, public engagement, program coordination, or related public sector services
• May be required to possess and maintain a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license, as depending on assignment
