About The Position

The Strategic Pricing Lead is a high-impact commercial role responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies across TravelCenters of America’s retail, fleet and wholesale fuels businesses. The role connects market, customer, competitor, supply and financial insights to improve profitable volume, margin and pricing execution at site, corridor, customer and network levels. It will advance integrated, analytical and forward-looking pricing through stronger processes, advanced tools and disciplined performance management. The position partners with pricing, sales, operations, supply, trading, finance, technology, data and analytics teams. It also builds team capability and represents TA in wider pricing forums. The role recommends pricing strategies, guardrails, interventions and capability priorities within its assigned scope; approves actions within delegated authority; and escalates decisions outside agreed commercial or risk parameters. It may recommend whether pilots or interventions should be stopped, adjusted or scaled, and provide operational pricing backup when required. Final financial authorities follow TA’s approved delegation-of-authority framework.
