Cox CommunicationsAtlanta, GA

About The Position

The ideal candidate will be a proven delivery-focused, execution-driven leader who can manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, setting milestones, owning critical paths, and driving outcomes even when the path forward is ambiguous. This role requires someone equally comfortable in the weeds with operations, product, and other teams as they are presenting to senior leadership, and who can move fast from analysis to action. The role also demands a strategically grounded contributor with strong business acumen, who can quickly grasp how an organization's divisions, functions, and dependencies fit together and use that understanding to build and execute plans that work. The candidate should be an outcome-focused, strategic enabler who builds strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, earning influence without authority, and understands the difference between change that's announced and change that actually takes hold.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in and 8 years’ experience in a related field (program/project management for enterprise transformation programs or equivalent management consulting experience). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 6years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience in a related field; or 12 years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience leading cross-functional work teams and influencing outcomes through indirect people leadership
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
  • Advanced project management skills and proficiency in related methodologies, tools, and change management frameworks
  • Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from senior executives and key stakeholders through compelling communication and relationship-building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you write clearly, structure ideas logically, and present persuasively
  • Experience mediating conflicts and negotiating solutions with internal and external partners to ensure project success
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves
