In 2024, YWCA Greater Pittsburg began implementing its current strategic plan. Given recent shifts in the nonprofit and economic landscape, YWCA GP will carry the implementation of this plan through 2028. The organization seeks a detail-oriented team member with analytical skills to serve as the Strategic Plan Implementation Coordinator. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Strategic Plan Implementation Coordinator will assist the CEO with ensuring strategic priorities are on track to being met and preparing for the next strategic planning process. The Coordinator will also serve as the liaison between the YWCA GP leadership responsible for the strategic plan priorities and the CEO. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, able to communicate effectively (oral and written). The strategic priorities aim to: Define the focus of advocacy efforts and programs within the existing YWCA mission statement to build strong niches in focused efforts while increasing impact. Define YWCA GP’s role and expand partnerships to better serve the community and amplify community voices in advocacy efforts.
