The Plant Engineering organization provides engineering oversight, program support, and qualified staff for the Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant mission. The Strategic Performance Manager supports mission-critical operational and strategic goals by aligning performance expectations, improving processes, and strengthening accountability. The role coordinates across engineering, operations, projects, and support organizations to monitor progress, identify issues, and drive solutions. It provides leadership and coordination rather than direct technical ownership, and supports performance management across multiple programs and functional areas. The position also supports the WTP Nuclear Safety Quality Culture, emphasizing safety and quality in work performance, and acts as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for PENG charging accounts, maintaining associated EVMS responsibilities. It is located at the WTP Site, 22 miles north of Richland, and follows a 4 x 10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The employee must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future Amentum visa sponsorship, pass pre-employment screening, and be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for Hanford Site access. Additional security requirements may apply to non-U.S. citizens from countries identified by DOE as posing heightened security concerns.
