Strategic Partnerships Lead — Federal Primes & Capture (USA Remote)

Legion is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Lead focused on Federal Primes & Capture to build the company's Prime-partner program from the ground up. This role involves converting relationships with federal Primes into qualified, opportunity-led pursuits. Requirements
- US Citizenship is required due to US Federal Government contract requirements
- Must have Federal Prime/capture experience
- Technical fluency to speak credibly with enterprise architects and engineering leads in federal environments, understanding how LLMs, agentic frameworks, and developer tooling operate within federal infrastructure, including FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, and zero-trust requirements.
- Proven ability to navigate a high-growth environment with limited structure.
- Comfortable in a startup environment building the playbook while you run it, executing independently with minimal supervision in the often long-cycle federal sales environment.
- Partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, Primes engaged on priority pursuits, formal teaming positions or defined workshare, and progression toward proposal, award, and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize and develop relationships with target Primes
- Build the operating playbook across targeting, enablement, teaming, pursuit tracking, and internal cadence
- Develop joint value propositions, solution positioning, and teaming strategies tied to specific opportunities
- Translate Legion’s technical capabilities into credible mission and capture narratives
- Work across sales, engineering, product, and marketing to support active pursuits
