About The Position

The Strategic Partnerships Coordinator-Louisville supports the Manager, Strategic Partnerships (Western Kentucky) in developing and executing innovative workforce development strategies and career pathway initiatives. This role supports the cultivation of high-impact employer and community partnerships, and coordinates implementation of credential and training programs aligned with labor market demand. The Manager plays a critical role in expanding access to employment, training, and supportive services for clients through data-informed decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. This position will primarily focus on initiatives in Louisville, though availability for statewide travel is required.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present information in an engaging and dynamic manner to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated versatility and professionalism in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize work independently.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethics.
  • Reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, a valid driver’s license in the state of residence, and a driving record that meets Goodwill’s insurance requirements.
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in workforce development, talent acquisition, vocational rehabilitation, or human/social services preferred.
  • Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) and capable of using various software platforms necessary for job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of employer partnership strategy to support workforce training, credential attainment, and job placement outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Cultivate, manage, and deepen high-value relationships with employers, industry associations, education providers, and community-based organizations to expand career pathway opportunities for clients.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new partnership and program opportunities that strengthen service delivery, reduce barriers to employment, and support regional and statewide growth.
  • Support planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of credential and pathway programs, ensuring alignment with labor market demand, employer needs, and organizational impact goals.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnerships and programs; analyze data using Salesforce and other platforms to drive strategy, measure impact, and inform decision-making.
  • Represent the organization in external meetings, convenings, and public-facing opportunities to advance strategic workforce initiatives and strengthen Goodwill’s position as a key talent development partner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
