About The Position

The Reentry & Strategic Partnerships Coordinator will provide specialized expungement services, facilitate Aspire programming inside correctional facilities, assist with stewarding employer relationships statewide, and coordinate while fostering the development and promotion of industry recognized credentialing programs across the state. Requirements

  • Must have effective oral and written communication.
  • Must possess versatility, discretion, and good interpersonal skills with ability to work with a variety of diverse people, providing excellent customer service.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work and have valid driver’s license and insurance and acceptable driving record.
  • Travel across the state and to other locations beyond the assigned work location is occasionally required.
  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in reentry services; criminal justice; social work; or related field.
  • Must demonstrate proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong organization and project management experience preferred.
  • Must maintain participants confidentiality and follow the Certified Rehabilitation Counselors’ Code of ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with clinics for the Goodwill Expungement Program by effectively communicating with the participants and community partners.
  • Assist with maintaining comprehensive participant records that reflect current and accurate data in the assigned database system; run reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with Department of Corrections, Administrative Office of the Courts, legal services, and other community partners as needed.
  • Communicate with and serve as a liaison between participants and other agencies.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with participants to ensure stability and further progress toward getting their record expunged.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of industry recognized credentials across the state making sure credentials are aligned with employer needs and client success.
  • Promote strategic employer partnership initiatives through effective public relations and community engagement.
  • Assist in tracking, analyzing, and reporting partnership engagement and effectiveness using Salesforce and other data platforms.
  • Support and facilitate programming related to reentry and workforce development initiatives as needed.
  • Facilitate classes and workshops held at the Opportunity Centers to assist with career exploration and job placements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
