About The Position

Grey Matters Defense Solutions is seeking a talented and dedicated Strategic Partnership, Division Chief. This role involves administrative oversight, including supervising and overseeing administrative issues and tasks for team members, and ensuring the smooth operation of the division by addressing logistical challenges and streamlining processes. The position also assists in the recruitment process by participating in candidate interviews and collaborating with HR and hiring managers to identify suitable candidates. Furthermore, the Division Chief will identify team members capable of mentoring and training new hires, fostering a culture of learning and growth. The role also contributes to performance evaluation by offering input on setting divisional goals and objectives and providing insights into team members' performance and development needs during annual reviews.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years management experience in the defense industry.
  • Previous experience managing software development and analyst teams.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to be the main point of contact to the prime contractor.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with the prime contractor and identify additional opportunities.
  • Previous experience managing project budgets, staffing and recruiting.
  • Experience tracking project deliverables, meeting project deadlines and milestones.
  • Leadership and management capabilities to support a growing team of developers.
  • TS/SCI required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
