About The Position

Anthropic is seeking a Product Partnerships specialist with experience in the security industry to drive its product partnership strategy. This role involves collaborating with leaders in SIEM/SOAR, EDR, identity, cloud security, GRC, and AI-native security startups. The specialist will develop scaled partner programs, foster a community of security startups, and work with internal teams (product, research, engineering, GTM) to define platform strategies and co-develop solutions. This is not a sales position.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the security industry in partnerships, business development, alliances, or product partnerships.
  • Deep familiarity with the security ecosystem, including SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, identity, cloud/workload security, GRC, or AI-native security startups.
  • Proven track record of landing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships, integration deals, ecosystem programs, or major vendor partnerships in the security sector.
  • Entrepreneurial operating style.
  • Technical fluency in security workflows and AI/ML, sufficient to engage credibly with CISOs, security architects, and product leaders.
  • Fluency in the regulatory and compliance environment shaping enterprise security buying (e.g., SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, sectoral regulations).
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical research and product teams and translate across business, engineering, and policy.

  • Experience building or operating an ecosystem program or developer/community function in security.
  • An existing network across SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud security, and AI-native security startups.

Responsibilities

  • Research and build critical strategic partnerships within the security ecosystem.
  • Source, structure, and close strategic collaborations, working with internal teams to define objectives.
  • Act as the internal domain expert on security partnerships, advising leadership on landscape, opportunities, and decision-making.
  • Map the security sector and prioritize high-impact organizations for engagement, building a clear pipeline and making decisions on focus areas.
  • Navigate complex organizations, including R&D, IT, legal, compliance, and procurement, to drive partnerships.
  • Enable product or platform integrations where relevant, collaborating with partner engineering teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with research, product, engineering, policy, and legal teams to structure compliant, deliverable, and valuable partnerships.
