About The Position

Anthropic is seeking a Product Partnerships specialist with experience in the security industry to drive its product partnership strategy. This role will focus on SIEM/SOAR, EDR, identity, cloud security, GRC, and AI-native security startups. The specialist will collaborate with industry leaders, establish partner programs, and foster a community of security startups. This is a strategic role, not sales-oriented, involving close collaboration with product, research, engineering, and go-to-market teams to define platform strategies, identify partners, and co-create solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the security industry in partnerships, business development, alliances, product partnerships, or a similar role.
  • Deep familiarity with the security ecosystem, including SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, identity, cloud/workload security, GRC, or AI-native security startups.
  • Proven track record of successfully landing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships, such as integration deals, ecosystem programs, or major vendor partnerships in the security sector.
  • Entrepreneurial operating style.
  • Technical fluency in security workflows and AI/ML, enabling credible engagement with CISOs, security architects, and product leaders.
  • Proficiency in the regulatory and compliance environment affecting enterprise security purchasing (e.g., SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, sectoral regulations).
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical research and product teams and translate between business, engineering, and policy.

  • Experience building or operating an ecosystem program or developer/community function within the security domain.
  • An existing network within SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud security, and the AI-native security startup community.

Responsibilities

  • Research, source, structure, and close strategic collaborations across the security ecosystem, working with internal teams to define objectives.
  • Act as the internal expert on security partnerships, informing research, product, and leadership on the landscape, opportunities, and decision-making.
  • Map the security sector and prioritize engagement with high-impact organizations, building a pipeline with a clear focus.
  • Manage partnerships through R&D, IT, legal, compliance, and procurement processes.
  • Facilitate product or platform integrations by working with partner engineering teams and ensuring quality.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with research, product, engineering, policy, and legal teams to structure compliant, deliverable, and valuable partnerships.
