About The Position

The Strategic Operations Lead serves as a high-level strategic advisor and operator supporting the C-Suite. This role acts as a strategic partner to the Executive, serving as a force multiplier to accelerate decision-making and drive organizational priorities. You will manage key initiatives, streamline communication across global functions, and oversee high-stakes special projects. You must be able to pivot from high-level strategic planning to granular operational execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in operations, project management, or strategic consulting.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and research options to inform executive-level decision-making.
  • Exceptional EQ and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • World-class written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable briefs.
  • Possess the ability to navigate different leadership styles (the technical CIO vs. the people-centric CHRO) with ease.
  • Excellent Problem Solving; you create a process so it doesn't happen again.
  • Ability to maintain a calm state during high-stakes deadlines or shifting priorities.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of discretion; handling sensitive information regarding personnel and corporate strategy with 100% confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA or Master’s degree is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the Executive to define long-term priorities and ensure the function stays on track to meet annual goals.
  • Develop systems to track performance against KPIs and company-wide objectives.
  • Lead and execute complex, high-priority "special projects" that sit outside the scope of traditional departments.
  • Audit and streamline internal processes to increase overall operational efficiency.
  • Act as a "connector" between the executive team and staff, ensuring information flows smoothly and departments remain aligned.
  • Oversee daily business operations in close collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Strategically manage the Executive’s calendar, prioritizing engagements to ensure they are focused on the highest-value activities.
  • Prepare materials for ELT meetings and facilitate executive-level follow-ups on all action items.
  • Provide a neutral, data-driven perspective on company strategy and personnel issues.
