USA DeBusk was founded in 2012, and its headquarters is in Deer Park, TX. They operate numerous offices, service centers, and customer-site-based locations across North America. The Strategic Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of USA DeBusk’s marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on trade show strategy, event ownership, and sales-driven execution. This role serves as the primary owner of trade show and event activities and operates with a high level of independence and accountability.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in marketing, events, or trade show management
  • Demonstrated ownership of trade shows and in-person events
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project ownership skills
  • Ability to operate independently while aligning with leadership direction
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; marketing platforms preferred
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, expense control, and ROI measurement
  • Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed for events

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of trade shows, customer events, and industry functions
  • Direct all booth logistics including layout, materials, shipping, setup, on-site management, and breakdown
  • Act as the on-site marketing lead and brand representative, ensuring flawless execution and brand consistency
  • Lead coordination with vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders, including contract negotiation and scheduling
  • Evaluate event effectiveness by tracking leads, engagement, and ROI; provide post-event analysis and recommendations
  • Maintain and control company event and trade show marketing assets
  • Contribute to and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business and revenue objectives
  • Oversee the accuracy, consistency, and readiness of marketing materials, brochures, and branded assets
  • Partner directly with sales leadership to support lead generation, customer engagement, and market positioning
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, reconcile invoices, and ensure cost alignment with approved spend
  • Provide input into forecasting and cost planning for marketing events and initiatives
  • Maintain ownership of marketing calendars and asset libraries to ensure readiness and visibility across teams
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership teams to deliver integrated marketing execution
  • Build and manage external partner and vendor relationships
  • Balance and prioritize multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high execution standards and deadlines
